September 17, 7:00pm, Monthly Meeting
Election of Officers - slate + Program
President - Jerie Artz
Vice President - Rachel Lattimore
Secretary -
Treasurer - Shelia Graveel

Additional unelected positions:
Program Chair - LaDonna Vohar
Exhibit Co Chairs - Diane Camberato/Becky Brody

As you can see, we need some one to fill the position of secretary.  Marilyn Martin has held this position for several years and needs to step down.  It involves taking notes at a monthly board meeting and the monthly program.  Computer skills necessary.

It is important for any organization to have positions filled by new folks.  If you enjoy WVAS programs, please consider coming along side one of the board positions during this next year.  Board meetings are held the Wednesday evening before the Tuesday monthly program.  Members are welcome to come and see how the planning is done.  We are grateful for Rachel Lattimore's contribution since her move to Lafayette two years ago.  Diane Camberato has stepped up to help with the exhibits that we all enjoy.  Please respond to this e-mail if you would be willing to serve as WVAS secretary.  Thanks much.

October 15 - Special Presentation by Golden Artist Colors representative!

WVAS Recent Past and Coming Events!

It's been awhile since this blog has been updated, but that doesn't mean that the Wabash Valley Artists Society has been inactive.

We just hosted a watercolor workshop, Saturday, March 30 given by Terry Armstrong. Fifteen enthusiastic artists spent the day learning to paint a water landscape.  It was a great day.

Tuesday, April 16 The WVAS will be making a field trip to Twin Rocker Handmade Paper in Brookston Indiana.  Founder, Kathryn Clark, will give us a tour of the paper making facility and tell us how their wonderful paper is made.  There will be opportunity to shop for some of the beautiful handmade paper while we are there.  Details to come!
