2013 Juried Show Exhibit Is ending...

Just a reminder to all WVWS artists that our 2013 juried show at TAF finishes tomorrow, October 25.  Please stop by and pick up your paintings.  It would be nice if your painting is sold and the new owner picks it up!  More to come on that if we have made some sales.

ArtPrize 2013

An amazing art exhibit you can explore on line if you can't get to Grand Rapids, Michigan, is ArtPrize 2013.  It's unique because any artist in the world can enter for a small fee, and win the largest monetary prizes in the world for an art show:  $200,000 for first place, $75,000 for second place and $60,000 for 3rd place.  The jury to determine the winners?  The general public votes!  Check out the web site for photos of the 1500 exhibits that blanket the city.  The winners will be announced this weekend!  www.artprize.org.  The photo is a quilt carved from wood.  Look at the web site and marvel and the creativity of artists!
