Virtual Exhibit 2020

Covid 19 may have changed our plans for an exhibit at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette, but it didn't keep us from coming together to create a virtual exhibit.  Artist's names and titles of paintings are available.  Send a message.   Enjoy!

Covid 19 Cancellations

Due to the corona virus, all activities of the WVAS have been cancelled until the social distancing period is behind us.

During these days of Covid 19 life has come to a stand still. Activities are cancelled, including the WVAS exhibit at the Art Museum of Lafayette, the garage sale and monthly meetings. An Indiana Plein Air Painters paint out at the Haan mansion has been canceled as well.

We look forward to days ahead when once again we can come together.

A Note from Ellie Hann:
You probably know by now that we had to cancel the PaintOut that was scheduled in May. We really hate to, because the committee put in so much effort in planning a special weekend for the artists. We hadn't printed the postcards or sent press releases yet, because we were waiting to see what would happen with the virus.

Would you please spread the word to the Wabash Valley Artists Society? I imagine that your spring and summer changed immensely with the closure of the Art Museum, and I hope that you’ve found ways to stay connected and continue your creative pursuits. Stay safe.

Warm regards,
Ellie
