September 2017 WVAS News
Before getting into September news, we want to thank Verna Ritz for her tireless service as our treasurer for the past 5+ years. Verna is conscientious and has been an awesome treasurer. She also worked on updating the by laws.
Thanks so much Verna!

Remax Office Opportunity
Members, We have a new place for our member's show---instead of Sylvia's Brick Oven, we'll be in the new REMAX office (right next to Duncan Hall, in the old Journal & Courier Building on Ferry at Sixth) as well as Harrison College. So, if you would like to have a painting for sale in a fairly busy office, for the gallery walk Sept 15, please bring a painting by that office and leave it there any time on Friday, September 8. Cheryl Butcher will accept them, and there will be a sign-in sheet. BE SURE to be well-identified: Put your name, title, medium, and price clearly written on the back. The show will remain up on their walls until the next show is ready to go up, probably a little over a month;I will alert everyone of that date. The office will provide refreshments during the Gallery Walk, so join us there 6 - 9pm Friday Sept 15 .Becky Brody (and Sonya Thomas)
Harrison College
Three of our WVAS members volunteered to exhibit their work from Sept - Nov at Harrison College. Harrison College provides the refreshments and pays TAF to be included in the gallery walk. If you would like to exhibit at Harrison College, there are two spaces available for Dec -Feb, and one space available Mar - June. Contact Jerie Artz to reserve your space.
Just a final note that the present exhibit at Harrison College featuring work by Ladonna Vohar, Vern Ritz and Jerie Artz will come down August 30 so there is a few days to check it out!
