The Hoosier Salon Exhibition

Come see the fantastic annual Hoosier Salon Exhibition, a juried show
that has began at Marshall Fields in Chicago in 1925 and moved to Indianapolis
in 1940. (One of our own member, LaDonna
Vohar, has a painting in the show this year.)
The show is at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center at
450 W. Ohio St. in Indianapolis.
Following is the schedule. Some
times at the museums are flexible. We
will have car pools.
Schedule:
9 a.m. – Car pools depart from the Tippecanoe Art Foundation parking
lot.
10:15 a.m. - Arrive at the History Center to view the show.
Noon – lunch at the cafĂ© at the History Center.
1 p.m. – Drive over to the Indianapolis Museum of Art
3 p.m. – Head home.
Costs:
History Center: adults $7,
seniors 60+ $6.50 (if we have a group of 10 cost is $6 each or $5.50 senior)
Lunch varies.
Indianapolis Museum of Art - free one hour tour if we have a group of
10.
Car pool and parking cost is $8.00 per person.
Car
pools:
Presently Marilyn Martin and Lanni Senn are driving and have room for
4 riders each. If you are interested in
going along or driving, please phone Sheila Graveel at 765 586 -8041 or Marilyn
Martin at 574 274-6861. We need to know
how many are coming as soon as possible.
